Basic Bath/Brush/Comb Out: When your cat is not matted, we can do a basic soothing bath, light blow dry, and brush out on them. This service includes the bath, blow-dry, comb out, claw clipping, and ear cleaning only. A sanitary trim of the rear end or private areas can be added on at the owner’s request. We can also do a more in-depth de-shed treatment to remove dead coat and reduce shedding. A de-shed is an add on service. *
Required
De-matting: Light mats that the groomer deems safe and painless to remove can either be brushed out or clippered leaving the rest of the coat on the cat. This may result in short areas, patchy areas, and shaved areas. For heavily matted coats that would be painful to your cat to remove, we will request your permission to shave the cat. We will not bathe and blow dry a matted cat, as moisture causes mats to get tighter, and can possibly rip the skin open, or allow for the growth of mold and bacteria. *
Required
Taking your Cat’s Hair Short: The term “Lion Cut” is used by cat groomers to describe the haircut done on cats when they are completely shaved down. Professional cat groomers use a set of clippers to shave the cat’s hair very short on the body. There are a number of reasons why a cat would be shaved into a lion cut. It is dangerous to try and cut out matting with scissors or without proper training. If your cat is either matted or you are interested in getting a Lion Cut done, it is best to seek out a qualified professional cat groomer. Shaving a cat will drastically change how they look, down to their color! *
Required
What does a Lion Cut look like? This trim is shaved very close to the skin on the body, belly and chest, leaving long hair on the legs, around the cat’s head and leaving a “pom” on the tail. Our Professional groomers can tailor this look to the client’s preference, as long as high-risk areas are not trimmed, and the condition of the coat allows it. These high risk areas include down the legs and paws where skin, ligaments, and tendons are sensitive to nicking, and we do not clip any whiskers on the cat (including by the muzzle, above eyes and backside of front paws), or too high around the head, face, and ears. *

Who gets a Lion Cut and why? Cats can get lion cuts whether they are long or short-haired. The most common reason for a lion cut is matting. If a cat is matted, the best and most humane option is to shave the cat into a lion cut, then get the cat on a regular grooming schedule to prevent matting. Regular lion cuts can also be a good way to prevent a cat from becoming matted. Matting is not the only time a cat gets a lion cut; shedding and allergies can be reasons as well. Sometimes, owners just love the look of a lion cut and it is purely a personal preference! *
Required
Who should NOT get a Lion Cut? Not all cats are candidates for getting shaved. Cats that are highly aggressive, elderly, or in poor health can be at a higher risk for becoming stressed or nicked during shaving. Speak with your professional cat groomer to determine the best grooming schedule and services for your cat. These cats will be referred to a groomer who has a veterinarian on site. *
Required
Your Cat and Our Groomer’s Safety During Grooming: If a cat becomes very fractious or difficult to handle when approached for grooming or during grooming, or the cat cannot be safely approached, contained, or groomed, without causing undue stress for the cat and possible injury to the groomer, the groom will be stopped and the cat will be referred to a vet for grooming under anesthesia. Charges for services rendered to that point will be the responsibility of the owner, to be paid in full by the end of the appointment. We do not “force” cats to endure more than they can handle during grooming. *
Required
A bath and blow-dry comes complimentary with a cat haircut. If a cat cannot endure a bath and a blow-dry without becoming stressed, this process will not be done but it does not reduce the price. *
Required
A cat bite can be a career ending injury for a groomer, usually resulting in a hospital or urgent care visit, along with a bite report being filed as required by law. Your cat’s safety and the safety of our staff is our top priority.
How long Does a Cat Groom Take? We do NOT give a  time estimate on cats or promise a cat to be done at a specific time because we move on a cat’s time frame. We give rest breaks between every step and often have multiple groomers assisting on a cat’s groom. If you desire for your cat to be done at a specific time, we can block off our schedule so they are the only pet in the salon. This service is charged at $72 an hour. Otherwise, we always call when your pet is ready for pick up. Please do not rush us when grooming your cat. A cat takes time and patience in order to stay stress-free. *
